Night at Compass Inn Museum

Designed for scout groups, schools, and other youth groups, Compass Inn Museum becomes a living mystery after dark. From 6 PM to midnight, guests step into a candlelit 19th century Stagecoach Inn where every room, artifact, and shadow may hold a clue. This immersive nighttime experience invites visitors to investigate the past as active participants rather than observers.

What to Expect:

  • Candlelit exploration — Explore the Inn’s rooms and outbuildings with a docent, guided only by flickering light and your curiosity.

  • Interactive historical quests — Participants will follow clues, solve period mysteries, and investigate life in the early 19th century.

  • Hands-on historic crafts — Try your hand at traditional skills and crafts that reveal how travelers and innkeepers lived and worked.

  • Hearthside demonstrations — Experience the sights and smells of authentic open-hearth cooking.

  • Late-night revelations — As midnight approaches, gather to share findings and unravel the mystery together.

Who can participate?

  • Available for youth ages 6 and up.

  • Maximum of 30 participants. We will have three groups of 10 participants. We will group smaller reservations together if they do not fill the desired 10 participants.

  • One adult is required for each reservation. The adult must stay with their group at all times.

Cost:

  • $20 per adult and $30 per youth

Tickets will go on sale Monday, August 17, 2026.
