1830s Pennsylvania Wedding
You are cordially invited to take part in the 1830s wedding of the season here at Compass Inn Museum! Join our blushing bride and stoic groom as they prepare for a day of festivities. Throughout the day, the museum transforms into a bustling stagecoach stop preparing for a traditional 1830s wedding, complete with the customs, etiquette, and lively gatherings that shaped the occasion. From the wedding meal to dressing the couple, our interpreters will tell-all about preparing for such a joyous occasion.
Weekend Will Include:
Interactive programs with our interpreters that make the past come alive (times to be released)
An outdoor wedding befitting an 1830s bride
Hands-on history for youth to take part in the celebration
Compass Inn Museum open for all visitors to explore
Ticket Prices: $14 for Adults, $12 for Seniors, $10 for Youth, Free: Children 5 & Under, Active Military, and LVHS Members
