Join us for an in-person book club for The Pale Blue Eye, written by Louis Bayard, who will be joining the book club meeting via Zoom. The historical fiction thriller novel was the basis for The Pale Blue Eye movie starring Christian Bale and Harry Melling and directed by Scott Cooper. Scenes from the movie were filmed on the historic grounds of Compass Inn Museum.

We will hold the book club meeting in the Common Room or "tavern area" of Compass Inn Museum. The exterior of the Common Room was featured as the outside of Benny's Haven, the fictional Hudson Highlands tavern outside of West Point Military Academy where many pivotal moments occurred in the book and movie.

Light refreshments will be provided during the meeting. Tickets are $15 for members of LVHS and $20 for non-members. The book club is limited to the first 25 participants.
