Do you have what it takes to carve the spookiest Jack-O-Lantern on this side of Route 30? Prove it! The Eighth Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest will be held at Compass Inn Museum, on Friday, October 27th, 2023. Families and individuals are encouraged to participate. Design it, carve it, and display it. There is no fee to enter.
CONTEST RULES:
-Pumpkins may only be carved.
-All submissions must be free-standing.
-Only battery-operated flameless candles are permitted.
-Only one submission per person.
-Compass Inn Museum reserves the right to refuse any entry.
Pumpkins entered into the contest will be displayed and judged by popular vote during “Hair-Raising History: Frightfully True Stories from the Ligonier Valley.” Winners will be announced on Sunday, October 29th, 2023.

Please drop off your ghouliest gourd between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm Friday, October 27th at Compass Inn Museum. Although pre-registration is encouraged, walk-in submissions on October 27th will be accepted. Please click here to download the registration form and contest rules.
